The Wounding
The sculptures I make are of our natural environment transformed by human activity. They investigate the relationship between the familiar, the other-worldly, and the many layers in between. The sculptures are often theatrically styled, and, when placed together, their ambiguous meaning is hopefully compounded. The work aims to reference something that may have taken place; they are props or clues to an event, a happening, even some form of entanglement. Perhaps what we are left with are the traces of an experience and the alluring possibility of future works.
