Mitchell•Giddings Fine Arts is pleased to host a poetry reading Friday, September 19, 5 – 7 pm., with poet Ann Gengarelly, who will be reading from her recently published book of poems, Loss and Invention. Former Vermont Poet Laureate Chard deNiord will introduce the Marlboro, Vermont, poet. There will be a book signing; light refreshments will be served.
Gengarelly is Director of The Poetry Studio at her home in Marlboro, where she offers after-school and summer classes for students (ages 6-17). Since 2002, she has taught adult creative writing classes in The Studio as well. Since 1980 she has been a poet-in-the schools throughout Southeastern Vermont, neighboring Massachusetts, and New Hampshire.
