There’s no place like Downtown Brattleboro for Halloween FUN! 5-7pm: Join us for Downtown Brattleboro style trick-or-treating. Go store to store and let the littles get their tricks and treats. Just look for the pumpkin decal on participating doorways. We’re VERY excited to mention that every location will have a non-food item option in addition to candy. Yup, Every. Single. Location. Inclusivity is where it’s at! The Brattleboro Recreation and Parks Department is pleased to announce that they will be hosting their annual Horribles Parade and Trunk or Treat event. Trunk or Treat is in the back parking lot of the Gibson-Aiken building and begins at 5:00 p.m. and will continue until 7:00 p.m. The cars participating in the Trunk or Treat are owned and staffed by members of local organizations and Brattleboro businesses. The cars will be handing out candy, small treats, and other surprises while supplies last. 6pm: PARADE! All Ghosts, Goblins, Witches, Scarecrows, etc are invited to walk in the annual Horribles Parade. Those wanting to participate should meet down in the Brattleboro Co-op Parking lot on the Whetstone Pathway by 6:00 pm. Please park in the public lots/garage on Flat Street. The parade will begin at 6:00 p.m. sharp and will go up Main Street to the Gibson Aiken-Center. Why not meet up on this spooky night in the heart of Downtown Brattleboro, and enjoy each other’s costumes and company.
