Join renowned assemblage artist Larry Simons on an artistic adventure! Participants will visit Larry Simons’s mountaintop assemblage studio in Brattleboro, where he will showcase his thirty+ years collection of materials he uses for his artwork as well as discuss his methods along with tips and tricks for gathering materials. Next, participants will have the option to join Larry at Brimfield Antiques and Collectibles Show (date and time to be determined at the first session) or go on a hunting adventure of their own, with location guidance from Larry. Lastly, participants will meet at HatchSpace for a full day of making, using their gathered materials under the guidance of Larry, to create their finished assemblage.
