C.J. Aubin inherited a 1931 Ford Model A named Lizzie from his cousin Bryan Aubin, who had inherited it from their great-grandfather Alphonse Aubin. Alphonse used the car to deliver mail in Lyndonville, where the Aubin family has lived for seven generations. Lizzie has been in the family for five generations and was a familiar sight in parades and at Bandstand Park. After being passed down through the family, C.J. brought Lizzie back to Lyndonville two years ago and has spent time restoring her with help from his children. They have driven over 900 miles around town in the past year, taking Lizzie to school and baseball games. The Aubin family, including C.J., his children Zak and Ali, and senior multimedia producer Eva Sollberger, were visited by Seven Days for a feature on their restoration of Lizzie and their family history with the car. This episode of Stuck in Vermont was supported by New England Federal Credit Union and featured music by Shelton Brooks performed by E Jammy Jams.
