Little Lad’s pops into Brattleboro | Business

Little Lad’s Popcorn recently opened a 10,000-square-foot facility in Brattleboro, Vermont, to increase production and tap into new markets closer to trucking routes. This facility has a new machine that can produce about 2,000 pounds of popcorn in less than five hours. The company offers four varieties of popcorn, with their Herbal Corn being the biggest seller. Little Lad’s was previously based in Maine, and its products are certified non-GMO, vegan, and gluten-free, partnering with a national distributor for their products. The company plans to transition all of its production to the new Brattleboro facility. The popcorn made in Brattleboro is considered kosher and comes in aluminum bags with a longer shelf life, while the Maine facility produces its product in clear bags. The company currently employs five people and has plans for more growth. It is currently available in multiple locations in New England. The owner, Arthur Mulyono, emphasizes the importance of bringing food production back to the Brattleboro area and has plans to expand further into the market.
