BCTV Producer Awards Night set for Nov. 8 at The Stone Church | Community-news

Brattleboro Community Television will be hosting its 2023 Annual Producer Awards on November 8th at The Stone Church. The event, open to the public, will include an awards ceremony, food and drink, and the live taping of a mini-episode of “Here We Are: Brattleboro’s Community Talk Show.” The awards will recognize individuals and organizations that have created exceptional local programming in the past year. The event will also acknowledge the retirement of BCTV’s longtime executive director, Cor Trowbridge.

Some of the award winners include “Town Matters” podcast for Series of the Year, Seth Thomas for Producer of the Year, Harris Hill Ski Jump for Community Partner Award, Brattleboro Music Center for Nonprofit Member Award, Windham Solid Waste Management District for Municipal Partner Award, and Wendy O’Connell for Lifetime Achievement Award. The event will be livestreamed on BCTV’s Facebook page and Comcast Channel 1078.

The award winners have created outstanding local programming, and the event is an opportunity for the community to show support for these producers. The event will also honor the retirement of BCTV’s long-time executive director, Cor Trowbridge.
