Singer-songwriter Allegra Larson has released a new song called “Apathy,” inspired by a difficult time in her life. The song is a barebones piano ballad and a departure from her previous releases with a full electric band. Larson has been pursuing music as a career since 2019 and has played all over New England, mostly in Vermont and Massachusetts. She has a solo residency at 1846 Tavern in West Dover and plays at other venues in the Deerfield Valley. Larson also plays with two bands, Allegra and the Daydreamers and Dr. Hammerhand. Her first two singles, “Ex Queen of Hearts” and “Eternal Blues,” are alt-rock songs with biting lyrics and searing guitar solos. “Apathy” is softer and more introspective but still intense. Larson will be celebrating the release of the new song at a party at Dover Bar & Grill and more information can be found on her website.
