Indie Latin singer-songwriter Marcie Hernandez has released a new video for her single “Easy on Me.” Filmed in Mojácar, Spain earlier this year, the video was funded by a Burlington City Arts Elevation Grant and is now available on YouTube. Vermont singer-songwriter Sarah King recently won the Great River Folk Fest singer-songwriter competition and is set to perform in her home state, with upcoming shows in Burlington and Stowe. Vermont rapper Konflik has released a new single and video for “Don’t Let’em feat. Termanology,” from his critically acclaimed 2022 album. The A_Dog Day celebration at Nectar’s in Burlington, honoring the late DJ and producer Andy “A_Dog” Williams, featured DJ sets and live music and was well attended. There are several radio shows dedicated to playing local music in Vermont this week, including “Wave Cave Radio Show,” “Rocket Shop Radio Hour,” “The Sounds of Burlington,” “Cultural Bunker,” “Acoustic Harmony,” “Local Music Spotlight,” and “All the Traditions.” A Spotify playlist of Vermont jams is also available.
