No woodworking experience required!

Learn. Before anyone tries the tools, we will talk about safely using them, how to secure the tool in the carving machine and what PPE you should wear when handling the tools. Students will try the different tools on scrap wood.

An herb stripper is the perfect project (or gift!) for a new or seasoned wood carver. This project only uses two burrs for the most part, so the barrier to entry is very minimal. Join Tiff as she walks you through the process, from tracing the template on to the wood all the way through to the completion of the herb strippers. 

Make. After becoming familiar with the power tools, students will carve an herb stripper, sand and finish it to take home.
