Have patriotic fun playing on an imaginative croquet course over the 4th of July weekend. This is the third annual Southern Vermont Sister District Project’s Blue States USA Croquet fundraiser to help flip strategic state legislatures Blue.
Bring friends and family and follow a meandering set of whimsical wickets through backyard gardens in Putney village. Original wickets are crafted by local artists and activists that creatively incorporate social justice, human rights, and environmental topics. This year’s theme is Rep. John Lewis’ admonition for us to “get in good trouble, necessary trouble.”
Sign up for “tee times” every fifteen minutes starting at 10:30am on both July 2 and 3 with room for groups of six (or fewer.). It’s politics and fun: croquet with a message. So, have a blast while flipping state legislatures Blue for the midterms 2022.
Open to all ages and no cost to play. However, donations to support Southern Vermont Sister District candidates are requested. To learn more: Google Southern Vermont Sister District Project
