Beginning Woodworking: Make an End Table

No woodworking experience required
This 4-session introductory class is for anyone who has not had much (or any at all) experience working with wood or tools, or wants a refresher. Designed to empower and build community among diverse beginner woodworkers, this class is open to all beginning woodworkers.

Learn. Through demonstrations and hands-on learning, students will be guided through the proper use and safety of all major woodworking machines. Topics covered include milling lumber four square, woodworking materials, common joinery, properties of wood, building from a set of drawings, cutting joinery, glue ups, sanding & basic finishing techniques.

Make. You’ll make a small end table with 4 tapered legs, half-lapped aprons and mortise & tenon joinery with a round top.


Saturdays and Sundays | 9am-4pm

July 13 &14 and July 20 & 21

Cost: $746.50 members; $865 non-members (includes $75 materials fee)
What to Bring: All items will be provided.
