The New England Center for Circus Arts (NECCA) is an institution in Brattleboro, Vermont, dedicated to the training and performance of circus arts. The center offers a wide range of classes and workshops for students of all ages and abilities, including introductory and advanced courses in acrobatics, juggling, aerials, and circus performance. NECCA is also home to a professional performance troupe, Circus Smirkus, which tours the country each summer. • The performance runs 80 minutes with no intermission.
• All children must be accompanied by at least one adult.
• Special effects including fog and strobing lights are used during the show.
• The circus performance takes place outdoors in an open-air setting, so please dress appropriately for the weather conditions. The performance area is not covered, so please be prepared for sun or rain. We recommend bringing sunscreen, hats, and rain gear as needed.
• Due to the outdoor nature of the circus, pending inclement weather and the current forecast, the company may pause, delay, or even cancel a performance. Ticket holders will be contacted at point of sale for a refund or reschedule in case of cancelled performances.
