Event Details

Join VINS for all things Monarch! Participants will learn how to safely catch butterflies, and assist staff with tagging for their fall migration. This citizen science project is part of Monarch Watch’s annual tagging program. Participants will also learn about current Monarch conservation efforts, and the cultural significance of the butterflies.

No experience is necessary. VINS will provide tags, nets, and other equipment (bring a net if you have one).

(Tickets are applied toward the Monarch Madness event and general admission to the VINS Nature Center).
