Event Details

Are you ready for this? We think you’re ready for this. June’s Gallery Walk was so perfect, we’d like to do it again and we want YOU to join us! We can guarantee lots of Food, Art, Music, Activities, and PEOPLE!! So let’s talk details:

What’s Gallery Walk without the galleries….not Gallery Walk? That’s right! This month there are 12+ galleries with new exhibits for your viewing pleasure. Pick up a newly revamped program and map at Harmony Collective anytime after 6/22 and plan your route!
Galleries This Month: Harmony Collective, Wheelhouse Clay Center, Epsilon Spires, Mitchell-Giddings, First Proof Press, In-Sight Photography Project, Gallery in the Woods, Beadniks, Brattleboro Museum and Art Center, Gallery 34 (RGSA), Latchis Theater, Vermont Artisan Designs, 118 Elliot.

Our band this month is Slim Pickin’s, Hard driving, high lonesome, modern bluegrass, featuring members of Bratt’s own Jatoba- Jason Scaggs, Jeff Richardson, John Jamison, and Marcel Leclaire. Think guitar + banjo + mandolin + DRUMS. Yeah, dancing and lots of it. The Stage is brought to you by DBA and The Stone Church Presents, on Elliot Street from 6:30-8pm.

These are our interactive, themed art stations. They are pop-ing up in several locations this month with a theme of “Open Mic”.

Main Street Flea is setting up shop in half of Harmony Lot again. Soooo many hand created treasures and so little time. 30+ local crafters/artists/makers/up-cyclers presenting their wares, quite the lovely marketplace we must say!

Salt and Lime Food Truck, Thai Hut, Hazel, The Stone Church Kitchen, Becka’s Bakes, Ben’s Juices, and the Whetstone Mobile Biergarten will be set-up and ready to sling food quick and tasty. There’s something for everyone!

You just never know WHO or WHAT is going to pop-up at Gallery Walk. Surprise music in random locations? Likely. A giant bird puppet parading through Harmony leading children like a pied-piper? Been there and done that! This month we have an extra special offering courtesy of Austin Designs, working with the American Institute of Architects-Vermont Chapter, who is presenting a scavenger hunt! One highlighting the historic and interesting buildings in our little downtown to be specific. Grab a clue sheet whenever and wherever you grab your Gallery Walk program, get cracking and then turn your completed sheet to be entered for a prize. It’s no secret that Brattleboro has some truly unique architecture, let’s take a moment to savor and appreciate it!

We think that’s about it folks. We could use some help in getting the word out- we hope you’ll consider sharing this event, telling friends and neighbors about it, and getting your heiny downtown for the event on July 2nd. Could there be anything better than gathering in the heart of Downtown Brattleboro to celebrate art, our galleries, great music, local food and drink, and EACHOTHER! See you Downtown!
