About Viva Quetzal:

Viva Quetzal’s Afro-Andean fusion is rooted in the folk traditions of Chili and Peru, but the band also incorporates elements of rock, jazz and world beat. The 7-member band creates beautiful, high-spirited music that appeals to audiences of all ages.

“…A sampling of all the diverse musical traditions that exist in the Americas and beyond… melodious rhythms with an exuberant, non-stop level of energy… Viva Quetzal’s brand of music is more than eclectic or rhythmic, it’s spiritual, it’s all cultures existing as one. That’s universal music!”

-Rafael Charres, Cashbox Magazine (NYC)

About The Gaslight Tinkers:

Afrobeat, Caribbean, breakbeat, funk, and Latin grooves meet traditional Northern Fiddle. It’s the future of the music of the past. The Gaslight Tinkers’ blend of global rhythms creates a joyously danceable sound around a core of traditional New England old time and celtic fiddle music, merging boundless positive energy with melody and song. Since its formation in 2012 the band has lit up the East Coast, the West Coast, and the Caribbean, headlining clubs, dances, and major festivals. The Gaslight Tinkers’ shows are packed with delightful surprises, elated crowds, and exuberant musicianship.

“Music that consistently fizzes and pops with unexpected textures and turns.”

-The Valley Advocate
