Brattleboro Literary Festival
The annual festival features established, award-winning authors and brilliant, emerging authors in unique pairings, sparking fascinating and dynamic conversations about literature, art and today’s most relevant issues. We strive to create an inclusive culture that encourages, supports, and celebrates the diverse voices. Founded in 2002, the Festival is the oldest continuously running literary festival in New England. We have presented nearly one thousand authors including winners of the Pulitzer Prize, the Nobel Prize, the National Book Award and others. In addition to the annual festival p, we host a monthly virtual series, A Literary Cocktail Hour, featuring exciting authors from all over the country and other events.
