The Gibson-Aiken Center of Brattleboro is open to all Seniors. Program costs are based on a not-for-profit concept. There are NO dues or fees for membership. The mission of the Brattleboro Senior Center is to provide activities, programs, and services that will enhance the quality of life for Senior Citizens residing in the Brattleboro area. The Senior Center is a division of the Brattleboro Recreation & Parks Dept.

Free Blood Pressure Clinic
The Brattleboro Senior Center will be joining with Rescue Inc to hold a FREE blood pressure clinic for those 55 years old and older on the first Tuesday of each month. Rescue Inc will be at the Brattleboro Senior Center located at 207 Main Street on May 7th at 11:00 p.m. * In the event of an emergency, Rescue Inc may not be able to attend or give notification in advance. * If there are special needs required for this program, please let us know by five days in advance.
Brattleboro Senior Center Taking Steps
The Brattleboro Senior Center will be collaborating with Brattleboro Area Hospice’s Taking Steps Brattleboro Program to discuss and work on Advanced Care Planning for those 55 years old and older. Join us on May 8th at 1 p.m. in the Senior Center’s Dining Room located at 207 Main Street. During this time Hospice Staff will discuss Advanced Care Planning/ Advance Directives (ACP/AD) and help to complete the correct forms. If there are special needs required for this program, please let us know by five days in advance.
